🚚 Two ways a card reaches the buyer
Sellers choose the route when they list:

The buyer's money is held safely while the seller ships to our verification hub with a prepaid waybill. We check authenticity and condition by hand, then forward the card with tracking. Not as described? The buyer gets a full refund — no debates.
🚀 Ship direct
The simpler route: the seller sends the card straight to the buyer with a prepaid, tracked waybill. One courier fee instead of two, faster delivery, and the seller pays no hub courier. Verification is skipped, so it suits lower-value cards and trusted sellers — the listing is clearly marked either way.

- 8% commission + courier to the hub on escrow listings (direct listings: just the 8%)

- Nothing. Zero hidden fees, either side.
🤝 Offers, lots & the 24-hour rule
- Buy now or make an offer. Every listing takes offers below the asking price. The seller is notified instantly and can accept or decline.
- Lots. Sellers can list a bundle of cards as one listing, and buyers can combine several of a seller's cards into a single lot offer — one payment, one parcel, one courier fee.
- The 24-hour rule. When an offer is accepted, the buyer has 24 hours to pay at the agreed price. Unpaid deals lapse automatically and the cards go straight back on sale — nothing stays stuck.
- Your listing, your call. You can remove a listing any time before it sells, and put it back on sale later.

When do sellers get paid?
The payout (price − hub courier − commission) lands in your SportsCard wallet when the buyer's payment clears and the waybills are issued.
What can I sell here?
Sports trading cards — rugby, soccer, F1, cricket and more. Singles, graded slabs, or whole lots. Raw cards are welcome: escrow verification protects the buyer.
How are delivery costs calculated?
Live courier rates from Bob Go at the moment of checkout — the rate you see is the exact rate charged. Cards ship in rigid protective packaging.
Is payment secure?
All payments and subscriptions run through PayFast. SportsCard never sees or stores your card details.
